PEPSI AZUKI ペプシ あずき

ペプシから和風コーラ ペプシ アズキが10月20日から限定発売。
「あずきとペプシの雅な出会い」
だそう。

色はもちろん小豆色。着物をイメージしたラベル。

ということで、飲んでみました。
小豆の香りします。味も、あんこをイメージした感じで、お饅頭のような甘さ。

でも、実は、小豆嫌いなので、一口だけ…。

色々作るなぁ。




PEPSI Japan has just launched PEPSI AZUKI.
The concept is "An elegance encounter with PEPSI and Azuki beans".

It has dark red colour like Azuki beans. The Label was designed like Kimono.

I tried.
It had a Azuki smell. The taste was like Japanese bean jam.
But I don't like bean jam!
So I only tried one sip...

PEPSI RAW ペプシロウ

すっかり書くのを忘れていたペプシロウ(RAW)
飲んでみました。味はペプシコーラとは別物。なので、通常のペプシとは別の飲み物として飲む方がよいかと。
炭酸＋ハーブ＋砂糖キビの甘さ、といった感じでした。
味の好き嫌いは個人の好みなのですが、話題のためにイギリスにきたら一度は飲んでみるとよいかも、です。



I almost forgot to write about PEPSI RAW.
I tried. The taste is really difference from the normal PEPSI. So you should try as a different drink.
I felt that the taste was sparkling water + herbs + sweet from sugar cane.
Likes or dislikes totally depend on your tastes but if you haven't drunk, try for a topic!

爪の成長だそう。

ちょっと古いニュースなのですが、8月25日付けのテレグラフによると、

イギリスの雨の多い天気は指の爪の成長にとってはパーフェクト。マンチェスター大学の科学者達は、湿度が重要な要素になると発見。湿度が低すぎると爪はすぐに割れてしまうし、高すぎると曲がってしまう。最適なレベルは55%でイギリスの一般的なレベルです。

Britain's rainy climate perfect for 'growing fingernails'.
Too little humidity and nails become brittle and easy to break. Too much and they may be susceptible to a catastrophic degree of twisting and possible shearing. The perfect level is 55 per cent humidity – a level that translates to normal atmospheric conditions in Britain.

Notting Hill Carnival ノッティングヒルカーニバル

日曜30日、月曜31日はノッティングヒルカーニバルでした。
ヨーロッパ最大のストリートパーティ。カリブ系の移民が始めたカーニバルで、8月最後の月曜のバンクホリデーとなる、連休の週末に行われます。

BBCニュースによると、この2日間で約72万人が訪れたそう。

このカーニバルの楽しみ方は、
● パレードを見る（勿論パレードにでるのはもっと楽しいかも）、
● あちこちに設置されたサラウンドシステムから大音量で流されている音楽の中から自分の好みのDJを探して踊る、
● 無数にある屋台で、スパイスで味付けした鶏肉をドラム缶で作ったバーベキューセットで焼いた外はかりっと中はジューシーなジャークチキンなどカリブ系の食べ物を食べる、
● カリブのビール レッドストライプを飲む！
などなど。

It was Notting Hill Carnival on Sunday 30 and bank holiday Monday 31 Aug!
The carnival is Europe's biggest street party.

Japanorama ジャパノラマ

久しぶりにイギリス国営放送BBC3で放送されていた日本関連のテレビ番組の紹介。
Japanorama ジャパノラマという番組で、色々とお騒がせネタも多い、イギリスの有名な司会者ジョナサン ロスがプレゼンターで、日本の文化や流行などを紹介するシリーズ。
数々日本の有名人（人じゃないものもですが）が登場します。
結構古い番組ですが、面白いので！

I haven't wrote about TV programme related to Japan for ages. So this time I'm writing about Japanorama which was broadcasted on BBC3.

Jonathan Ross presented documentaries of life, culture and trend in Japan.
The programme is old but interesting!

Empty ATM @ Comic Market コミケでATMが空に

The Comic Market, also called Comiket which means comic book market is one of famous Japanese events. This is one of typical Otaku cultures.

It is held twice a year at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo.

It is told that the visitors spend money and the sales will be more than several hundreds million yen which means over one million pounds.

Because too many people visited and spent huge money this time, really an usual thing had happened.

Cotton コットン

コットンは、Tシャツやフェイシャルコットン、などなど色々な製品に用いられていて、ナチュラルなイメージがあります。が、実は最も農薬や殺虫剤などが使われている植物。

イギリスの新聞 ガーディアンによると、

一枚のTシャツには80gの化学肥料と、3gの殺虫剤が使われている可能性がある

そう。

結構な数値です。

確か、コットン程ではないものの、コーヒー豆も農薬が大量に使われる植物だったはず。コットンやコーヒー豆はフェアトレード+オーガニックのものが増えているのも納得です。

Cotton can be one of most un-environmentally friendly plants. Although it has got natural image, lots of pesticides and chemicals are used.

Cotton is hugely damaging to the environment: a single T-shirt will have used 80g of fertilizer and 3g of pesticides.

I heard that coffee can also be un-environmentally friendly plant. Although it can be less than cotton, it also can be used lots of chemicals.
I understand why fair trade and organic cotton or coffee beans are getting famous.

Earthquarke 地震

On 11 Aug Japan had an earthquake.

Although we often have earthquakes, this one was big. I hope the place will recover soon.

I heard really technological news.
30 seconds before the earthquake mobile phones made beep sounds to warn and also got emails "you will have an earthquake".
Wow!

One of my friends said;

It was really different whether I knew that an earthquake was coming or not.

ファーストフードやコーヒーショップ、はては学食のセルフサービスで食べたり飲んだりした後の食器や紙コップなど、あなたは片付けています、よね？
日本では当然。たまに店員さんに「そのままで」と言われてそのままにすることはあっても片付けるのが当たり前。

国が違えば、です。本当かどうかは知りませんが、これで職が一つ増えていると誰かが言っていました。

でも、一人で食べてる/飲んでる途中に、他に荷物を置かず、ちょっと席を立ってトイレに行ったりして戻ってくると、席には違う人が座って、別のものを食べてるかもです。

I guess you don't. But in Japan the majority of answers is yes. It is a manner.
If you see a paper cup on a table at a cafe in Japan but nobody there, it means somebody is still sitting there.

There are many words which are ordinary words for the nation but can be rude for other nation.

The other example is Calpis.

CALPIS is made from non-fatted milk . The milk is fermented slowly by adding microorganism including lactobacillus unique to our company and kept on using for a long time.

Capis drinks are sold in lots of countries. But they are normally called Calpico. Because of the sound of calPIS..., they decided to change the name when they sell in other countries...

日本では、一段落ついた感じの豚インフルエンザ。一方、イギリスではこのところトップニュースとなっています。

Seaweed Plastic 海藻からプラスチック

One kind of Seaweeds called Sea Lettuce / Aosa in Japanese is growing too much near Tokyo and becoming a problem.
But according to one of Japanese newspapers, Yomiuri Newspaper, Yatsuhigata Nature Observation Center in Japan has succeeded to make plastic from the seaweed.

The typical bio plastic is probably made by corn. But it has got a genetically modified problem. The ingredient which is used for corn plastic is always GMO (Genetically Modified organism).
This is an ethical question. A plastic made by corn is sound good but the truth is GMO. Is it good or bad for the earth?

This seaweed is not GMO. It is just not unwelcome by the area.

The article said,

The plastic has got a smell and colour of seaweed.

I hope seaweed plastics will be used more and more.

読売新聞によると、谷津干潟自然観察センター は、異常発生しているアオサからプラスティックを作ったとのこと。

これまで、生物由来プラスチックと言えばトウモロコシが典型的な例ですが、トウモロコシにしても、日本なら納豆もありましたが、それにしてもこれらの原料は遺伝子組換で作られた過剰原料処理のために作られたもの。
石油を使わず、生物由来といえば聞こえはいいものの、表示義務がないために遺伝子組換であることは謳われずに使われてきています。

でも、アオサはただ単に大量発生してしまったものなので、よい処理法だと思います！

同記事によると、

「全体に緑がかり、海藻のにおいがほのかに残っているのが特徴」

とのこと。 エコ意識の高い企業で使われ、広がるとよいですね！

昨日は、グリーンブリテンデイでした。
どんな、グリーンに取り組もう、と考え…、電球は既に電球型蛍光灯に切り替えたし、窓辺ではハーブや野菜を育ててるし、…。

で、自転車見に行ってきました。
まず、Gocycle
思ったより大きい?!
後は、 ブロンプトンとダホンも見てきました。
どれにしよう…。

もう一つのグリーン計画は、夏の休暇をグリーン旅行にすること。
（グリーンデイはこんなのでいいのだろうか…。）

It was bigger than I thought.

Nothing to Hide - Air New Zealand ニュージーランド航空

I heard Air New Zealand made funny safety video and advert. So I watched them with one of my friends from New Zealand.



She knew about the safety video but didn't know about the advert.



Before watching the video she said it would be good to be known the airline.
During we watched, we laughed a lot.
After we watched, she said "I don't know ... " pretending she was cool but still laughing.

Behind the scenes are also fun!



ニュージーランド航空のセーフティビデオや広告が面白い、と聞いて、ニュージーランド人の友達と一緒に観てみました。

彼女は、セーフティビデオのことは知っていたのですが、広告は知らなかったらしい。
観る前は、他の国の人がニュージーランド航空のことを知ってくれる機会になって嬉しい、と。
観ている間は大笑い。
で、観終わった後は、少しすまして、うーん…、とだけ(でも笑ってる?!)。

The Star Festival 七夕

Today, 7 July, is a traditional festival in Japan called the Star festival (TANABATA in Japanese) and also called the Festival of Vega and Altair.

This is based on a Chinese myth of a couple. Vega (Orihime in Japanese) is a girl who is a weaver and Altair (Hikoboshi in Japanese) is a bow who is a cowherd. They loved each other and spent too much time seeing. Therefore they didn't work hard.
The king was cross and decided to separat them by the Milky Way in the sky.
Altair is allowed to see Vega through the Milky Way only on 7 July.

The Japanese celebrate this day by writing wishes on small colourful paper strips and hanging on branches on a bamboo. It looks beautiful! This isn't Japanese Tanabata festival but I found similar one in London!

今日は七夕。日本の美しい風習。ロンドンで、ちょっと七夕に似た光景を見つけました。

Green Britain Day グリーンブリテンデイ

イギリスでは、今年7月10日をGreen Britain Day グリーンブリテンデイと設定。
何でもよいので、「一つグリーンなことをしよう」という環境を考える日です。

グリーンブリテンデイを設定したのは、2012年のロンドンオリンピックをグリーンなオリンピックにするため、オリンピック実行委員会London 2012、イギリスコーンウォールにある巨大な植物園エデンプロジェクトやEDF Energyという電気会社、オリンピックなどがサポートし、設立されたチームグリーンブリテン。

私も、どんな「一つ」をしようかと思案中。

マドンナのヌードが30周年を記念し、ロンドン コヴェントガーデン セブンダイアルの近くでエキシビジョンが開かれています。

搬入の際、FRAGILE (壊れモノ注意)のテープで胸元を隠していたのが、あちこちのニュースで話題に。

会場内では、シャンパンやワインなどを飲みながら写真が見られるのですが、一緒にアサヒビールも販売されていました。

昨日4時にヒースローに到着したらしいのですが、彼女の着ていたTシャツの方が話題に。

とTシャツにはLUCKY BxxxH (BとHの間は伏せ字）と書かれています。
本人にとっては、思惑通りの報道なのか…?!モデルさんなんでしょ?!それを着る??

6月ロンドンでは、エコデザインフェアが、数箇所で開かれてます。

たまたま近くを通りかかったので、立ち寄ってきました。

フェアトレードのコットンを使った服や、麦ワラのバック、など色々なエコロジカルなモノが展示販売。

クリップを使ったグッズや、缶ジュースのプルトップを使ったバックなども!

アンケートに答えると、エコバック、エコベールの食器用洗剤や、電球型蛍光灯、部屋の適温を測る温度計、などをもらいました。

今日は、新聞、TVニュース、どこでもこのニュースがトップに。

イギリスに来て初めて体験しますが、イギリスのテレビ局ITVも、Channel 4も番組を急遽差し替え、特番を組んでいます。

I watched the news on TV and read the news on newspapers through the day.

I had never experienced that TV companies changed programs but today ITV and Channel 4 have changed the programs to Michel Jackson's programs.

トイレを有料にする、太った人は乗らないでください - 代わりにブリティッシュエアウェイズを、と、発表し、何かとお騒がせなアイルランドの航空会社ライアンエアー。

昨日は、荷物の預け入れを廃止したいと発表。

そうすると、ロストラゲッジもなくなるし、チェックインも荷物の受け取りの時間も短縮されるとの見解。

現在液体物など機内持ち込み手荷物の規制がありますが、それはどう解決するのでしょう?特に、化粧品類の多い女性にとっては数日の旅行といえども、必需品の液体物は多く…。乗れなくなるのか…。

その傍ら、次は何を企むのか、気になる。

Now they are seriously thinking to abolish checking in luggage.

No checking luggage means no lost luggage. It also reduces the waiting time at the airport.

But how about the products which we cannot put into the hand luggage like liquids in over 100ml bottles. Especially for girls who have lots of skincare products, they are carrying lots of liquids. They cannot go on board? What do they deal with?

Turkish boy's 'miracle' escape トルコ人の男の子奇跡的に助かる

今朝のBBCで流れていたのは、このニュース。

4歳になるトルコ人の男の子、 マハメット君が車にはねられたものの、奇跡的に助かったというニュース。映像見ると、吹っ飛んでいます。でも、その後立ち上がり、歩き去っていきます。4歳児だったから、体がやわらかく助かったのかも。




事故と言えば、今日私はロンドン市内で、マンホールが爆発するのを見ました。火と煙が立ち上っていました。

最近、自転車が欲しい。それも、折りたためる小さいやつ。

しかし、電動自転車の方が楽かも、とのアドバイスを受け、探しています。

一つ見つけた電動自転車が、Gocycle
もともと見つけたのは、イギリスの新聞タイムズオンライン。それによると、価格は£1,198らしい。でも、小さい。軽そう。そして、そこに乗っているビデオを見ると、たためないものの、分解できる。
悩む…。

Recently I really want a bick, actually folding type.

But it may be easy to run if it has a electric motor.

今朝、ロンドンの地下鉄の駅で配布されているフリーペーパー ロンドンメトロをめくったら、目に飛び込んできたのは、彼女。写真はこちらから。

3個の小さな星の刺青を入れようとして、うっかり眠ってしまった間に、53個もの刺青を入れられてしまったらしい。
タトゥーしているとき、眠れるのもすごいけど。 痛そうなのに!?

もうすぐ七夕がやってきますが、顔が天の川に…。

フランスでは、MDIが空気で走る車を開発中。
一方、イギリスでは、2013年公道を走る予定の水素カーがお披露目。

イギリスと言えば…、の一つがパブでしょう。
よく聞かれる質問で、「お勧めのパブは?」というのがあります。
結構答えに詰まる質問で、パブに関してはあまりこだわって行っていない…。テラス席やガーデンがある、程度はたまに気にしますが、とりあえず近くにあるパブに行くのが実情。

McDonald's マクドナルド

国が異なると、文化、習慣、マナー、風習、好み、流行…、色々違ってきます。

日本のマクドナルドとイギリスのマクドナルドの違い。

まず見た目の、色。

日本では、どこにいっても看板は赤、赤、赤。

赤がコーポレートカラー。

しかし、イギリスでは少し違います。日本と同じ赤地に黄色のMのマークもありますが、多く見られるのは、黒。落ち着いた感じです。

イギリスの街並みに合うように規制しているのか…。

メニューもその国々によって少し違うようです。

There are lots of differences between different countries based on the cultures, manners, customs, trends etc.

One example is McDonald's. McDonald's in England and McDonald's in Japan are slightly different.

Because their corporate colour is red, all McDonald's in Japan use red colour on their signboard.

In England some McDonald's stores use red but we often see black.

Also they make original hamburgers depended on the local foods.

Madonna won マドンナ、マーシーちゃんを養女とする裁判で勝利

イギリスの新聞Guardianによるとマラウイの最高裁は、マドンナに4歳のマーシーちゃんを養女に迎える許可を与えたとのこと。
マラウイの法律では養子に迎えるには、最低マラウイに一年半居住していることを条件としています。それにも関わらず、2006年同マラウイからデイヴット君を養子に迎えたときには物議を醸しました。今回は、そのことを受けて、却下されていたのですが、マラウイの経済面での現状を考慮し、本日この判定。

マドンナはこの地域に経済的な支援をしているそうです。

そう言えば、マドンナがイギリスの郊外の広大な家に住んでいたとき、家の近くを通る公共のフットパスを通行禁止にするよう自治体に要請し、地元民との間でそこでも物議を醸していました。 敷地が広すぎて、フットパスから家までは果てしなく遠く、そこから家が見えることなんてないのに。

According to Guardian,

Top Malawi court grants Madonna permission to adopt four-year-old Mercy James.

When she adapted a first child, David, from Malawi in 2006 without living an enough term, she was criticised.

This news reminds me that she asked to close public footpath near their house in Wiltshire. Because their land was huge, the footpath wasn't close the house...　She was criticised at that time, too.

World Naked Bike Ride 裸で自転車に乗って街を駆け抜ける

自転車の話しが続いているので、もう一つ自転車の話題。

明日6月13日は、ロンドン ハイドパーク集合で「第6回 London Naked Bike Ride」が行われるそうです。そのままの訳で、「ロンドン市内を裸で自転車に乗る」ってこと?!

主催者のWorld Naked Bike Rideサイトによると、昨年はこのイベントにイギリス全体では約2000人が参加。石油への依存と車文化に反対して行われています。

On Saturday 13 June 2009 the sixth London Naked Bike Ride will return to the streets of the capital, allowing riders to see the city sights from the comfort of a bike or skates. 48-hour tube strike continues.
How did you get the office or somewhere you had to go? Bus? Taxi? Walked? Cycled? Roller skated!?

On TFL website, you can find "Planning your alternative journey" by public transport, cycling and walking.

You might cycle yesterday and today. But where did you park?
Recently cycling into work is recommended. But more and more people start to use bikes, you will find more and more difficult to find a space to park.

Japan has already got this problem.
Now this might be the answer.

ロンドンは48時間ストの真っ只中。
いつもは地下鉄を使う人も、昨日今日は違う手段で出勤やらお出かけ。バス、タクシー、歩き、自転車、ロラースケート?

地下鉄を運営するTFL websiteでは、公共交通手段、自転車、徒歩でのルートが検索できるようになっています。

現在、ロンドンでは、自転車を使うことが勧められていますが、まだまだ自転車率が少ないため。もっと多くなったら何処に自転車を泊めるんだ?

放置自転車問題が起こる前に、葛西駅前がもしかしたらお手本なのかも。

AirPod, OneFlowerAir, MiniFlowerAir 空気で走る車

昨年、空気で走る車、AirPodが紹介されたそうなのですが、知らなかった。

フランスのメーカーのMDIのサイトを見たら、なんと、AirPodだけでなく、OneFlowerAir, MiniFlowerAir, CityFlowerAir, MultiFlowerAirと、色々な車を設計しています。

小さな車なのに、いずれも、3人以上乗れるように設計しているところもすごい。
MultiFlowerAirなんて、公共の乗り物用で、尚且つ連結できるように設計されている。
おもしろい。

既に電気自動車が地位を持つ、グリーンに関心の強いイギリス。すぐに取り入れないかなー。

今日午後7時より、チューブで知られるロンドンの地下鉄は48時間のストに突入。正常に戻るのは、金曜の朝だとか。
今日は定時で帰社する人も多く、地下鉄も、バスも、いつもより混んでいました。
明日は、バスか国鉄を使って通勤するか、自宅勤務にするかの人が多いようです。
バスを使っても、国鉄を使っても、いつもより時間がかかるし、混み混みになるのは必至。

Tuna ツナやマグロが消える

魚の数が減少しつつあることが問題になっている中、イギリスの新聞 タイムズによると、大手サンドイッチチェーン プレタマンジェは今後ツナ＆キュウリ サンドの販売を中止すると発表しました。

チャールズクローバー著「The End of the Line」(邦題: 飽食の海―世界からSUSHIが消える日)のドキュメンタリーフィルムを見たプレタマンジェの創設者の一人が販売の中止を決めました。

マグロのいるべきところは私達のサンドイッチボックスの中ではなく、海。

といった主旨の発言を行っています。
今後、これに追随する、またはせざるを得ないレストラン、食品店がでてくる見通し。

イギリスの夕刊thelondonpaperによると、
既に、セレブリティシェフのゴードン ラムゼイやジェイミー オリヴァーは本マグロを彼らのレストランで使うことを禁止しているとのこと。

According to the Times, Pret A Manger will no longer be selling tuna.

Pret A Manger’s co-founder Julian Metcalfe has removed tuna and cucumber sandwiches after seeing The End of the Line.

Metcalfe told the film’s producers: “Much as a result of your film, we took tuna
out of Pret sushi entirely. No tuna in the box at all . . . so more in the sea,
where they belong.”

The Apprentice アプレンティス - イギリス人気テレビ番組

イギリスには、いくつかの人気テレビ リアリティショーがあります。すっかり世界的に有名になったBRITAIN'S GOT TALENT, アメリカ版もあるThe X Factor, 今週から新しいシリーズが始まったばかりのBig Brother, そして本日ファイナルを迎えるThe Apprentice.
いずれも、毎週誰かを蹴落として、ファイナルへと勝ち残っていくテレビ番組です。

The Apprenticeは、アメリカ版もあるようですが、イギリス版は、BBC1で放映されており、実業家のアラン シュガー卿の元でアプレンティス(見習い人)として働き、本採用の一つのポストをめぐって、時に新しい製品のプロモーションを行ったり、時に様々なものを飛び込みで販売に行ったり、時にテレビショッピング番組で物を売ったり。毎週一人が脱落するのですが、その際、アラン シュガー卿が、その人を指差し、「You are fired! (首だ!)」と言うキメ台詞が人気。



この手の番組は、続けてみないと面白くないのですが、首になる瞬間だけ。




すごいと思うのは、出演者の、いかなるときも、「自分は悪くない」と主張する弁明、他人のせいにする技術、そして、数分前まで、「悪いのはこいつだ」といっていたのに、最終宣告後は、誰もがハグして、「あなたがいなくなって残念」と言う…。さっきまでのは何? すごい。

今年、ファイナルまで残ったのは、初めて女性2人。 ファイナルでは、、「You are fired!」の代わりに、「You're hired!(採用だ!)」のせりふが使われます。



ところで、このアラン シュガー卿は、人気不振のゴードン ブラウン首相のアドバイザーとして雇われるのではないかとの噂で、新聞の見出しには、「You're hired!」と書かれています。



In England, survival style reality TV shows are much more popular compared with Japan, like BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT, The X Factor, Big Brother and The Apprentice.

It is always amazed how the candidates say "it's not may fault" and find fault with others!

Corona in Akihabara 古炉奈

A cafe called Corona in Akihabara, Tokyo is going to close down in Jun. If you have been to Akihabara, you might know or hear about this cafe. They are close to Akihabara JR station.

Whenever I go to Akihabara, I always go to the cafe.They freshly ground and make filter coffee like Monmouth Coffee Company in London. They also make water drip coffee.
I like their traditional style.

Akihabara is an interesting city for both Japanese and foreigners. The city is a mixture of lots of things like Game, Computer, Animation, Manga, Otaku goods, something really new and something really old, etc, etc.

I'm really disappointed that Akihabara is going to loose one classical thing.

Corona will be refurbished and open as an European guild style restaurant called Granvania. According to their HP, the concept of the restaurant is the Medieval times in Europe which is often seen in animations and games.



秋葉原にある喫茶店「古炉奈」が6月で閉店すると聞きました。秋葉原をあまり知らない私ですが、それでも行くと、ほとんどいつも行っていた喫茶店です。
コーヒーを豆から挽いて、フィルターで丁寧に入れてれる珍しいお店。ロンドンでいうと、モンマスコーヒーみたいなところでした。
なんだか、どこもがエスプレッソマシーンになってきた中で、とてもおいしいコーヒーをいれてくれていたので、とっても残念。水出しコーヒーもおいしかった。

で、その後は、同じ運営会社により、欧風ギルドレストラン「グランヴァニア」になるそう。HPによると、

アニメやゲームに登場する中世ヨーロッパの世界観をコンセプト

だそうです。んー、時代の波って言うのでしょうか…。

PEPSI SHISO (Perila Herb taste) ペプシしそ

Shiso which is called Perila Herb is one of typical Japanese herbs. It is same family such as Lamiaceae which includes all mints herbs like Peppermint, Rosemary, Lemon Balm, etc.
So you can guess this PEPSI has got fresh taste!
It has green colour!
Perila Herb is good for loss of appetite, coughs and symptoms of hay fever. It is also known as expectoration. Importantly, it tastes really nice! The herb is often eaten with raw fishes like SUSHI.

I wrote about Coca-Cola Oasis and PEPSI RAW. Now Coca-Cola plus Green Tea which contains catechin is going to be launched in Japan!

Catechin is known as an antioxidant agent. It is also known to protect reducing collagen and elastin fibres in the skin. Therefore Green Tea is good for anti-aging! The beauty industry is more and more using tea extracts.

リリースには書かれていませんが、カテキンは、抗酸化作用があり、日焼けや、エイジングによる肌のダメージに効果があり、コラーゲンやエラスチンの減少を防ぐアンチエイジング作用があると研究されています。そのため、緑茶だけにとどまらず、白茶、ウーロン茶、などなど、お茶に関連する成分は化粧品業界でも注目されています。

リリースにも「女性」と書かれていますが、女性を意識して緑茶を配合したのかな?

また、カテキンには抗菌性があることも知られています。カテキン自体は健康によいとされているものです。

マイケルジャクソンが怒っているらしい。

この夏、ロンドン O2アリーナで行われるロンドン公演。最後になる? とか、延期になった とか、何かと話題に。
最初は10公演と発表されていたら、いつの間にか、50公演?!
え?!と思ったのは、本人も同じだったらしい。

本日のフリーペーパーthelondonpaperによると、「10公演だけ行いたかった」との見出しで、

「ロンドンで10公演したら、世界中を回りたかった。一箇所50公演ではなく。」
「10日分を売ったのを知ってベッドに入ったら、翌朝、50公演しなくてはいけない予定になっていた。」

と書かれていました。 更には、

「50公演をどうやって行うのか自分でもわからない。食は太くないし、少し体重を増やさなくては。」

と語ったそうです。

サンプリングでPepsi Raw ペプシロウをもらった。こんなペプシがあったの知らなかったけど、2008年2月に発売されていたらしい…。

一緒にもらった紙には、「天然原料で、すごくおいしい」、って書いてあって、サトウキビ、天然植物エキス、アップルエキス、アラビアゴムなど天然原料とスパークリングウォーターのみで作られているらしい。

ぬるくなっちゃったので、冷やして飲んでみよう!

土曜日に放映されたBRITAIN'S GOT TALENTの後、Susan Boyleさんがホテルにて行動がおかしかったので、入院されたとのこと。過労だと今朝のニュースでは報道されていました。

今年は、Susan Boyle スーザン ボイルのパフォーマンスがYoutubeにアップロードされ、イギリス外でも大きな話題に。スターが生まれる瞬間を目にした方も多いはず。サイモンのあんぐりとした顔が忘れられない!アメリカで強い支持を受けたため、アメリカンドリームと報道されていました。
今日はそのファイナル。10人のファイ名リストから、今夜、優勝者が決定します。

昨日は、新聞もSusan Boyleの前日の状況を報道。

ちょうど、今、Susan Boyleが歌い終えたところですが、空から降ってくるような、ハリのある強く美しい声。
(サイモン、涙浮かべてた?!)

Today is the final! I've just watched Susan Boyle's performance. Her powerful voice was really beautiful. It's like coming from Heaven.

昨夜の放送内容は、かならま祭り。実は、あちこちの海外メディアで紹介されているらしいです。
